Welcome to luxturis.com. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are the agreement between you and LuxTuris, LLC ("LuxTuris," "we," "us," or "our"). By using our website, making a support payment, or buying our products, you agree to these Terms. Please read them.

Our publication

LuxTuris is a for-profit independent publication. Our Journal articles, The LuxTuris Letter, Letter archive, publication PDFs, and other editorial publications are free to read. They do not require payment, an account, or financial support.

Readers may join The Pulse and other clearly identified email lists for free. Email signup does not create a LuxTuris account or a Stripe subscription. Each email includes an unsubscribe method.

Voluntary support

Readers may choose one-time support or monthly support. Support payments are voluntary and are not tax-deductible charitable contributions. Supporting LuxTuris does not unlock content, provide editorial benefits, or include Heritage Book products.

One-time support does not require an account. Monthly support is currently $5.99 per month and requires an account only so the monthly supporter can manage billing. Stripe processes support payments. Monthly supporters may cancel future recurring charges through the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancellation or payment failure does not change access to editorial publications.

Heritage Book products

LuxTuris plans to sell downloadable Heritage Book products separately from the publication and voluntary support. Until a product is marked available for sale, its public page is a coming-soon or waitlist experience. A support payment does not purchase or reserve a Heritage Book.

Available Heritage Books are digital files. Nothing physical ships to you unless a product page expressly says otherwise. After a completed purchase, you receive a protected, time-limited download link to access your files.

Your purchase

When you buy a product, you agree to pay the listed price. Payments are handled by Stripe. Once your payment is confirmed, we deliver your download link. Because our products are digital and delivered electronically, please review our Refund Policy before you buy. All sales are final except as described there.

The license we give you

When you buy one of our PDF books, we give you a limited license to use it. This means:

• You may use the file for your own personal, non-commercial use.
• You may print copies for yourself, your family, or your own household.
• You may not resell, redistribute, share, sublicense, or give away the file or its contents.
• You may not use the file or its contents for any commercial purpose without our written permission.
• You may not upload the file to any public or shared platform, file-sharing site, or resale marketplace.

This license is personal to you. It does not transfer ownership of the product to you.

Intellectual property

All of our products, including the PDF books, their designs, artwork, and text, are owned by LuxTuris, LLC and are protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. The website itself, including its content and branding, is also ours. Buying a product gives you the license described above and nothing more. All rights we do not expressly grant are reserved.

Acceptable use

You agree to use our website and products lawfully and honestly. You agree not to attempt to disrupt the site, gain unauthorized access, or infringe our intellectual property or anyone else's.

Disclaimer of warranties

We make our products with care, but we provide them "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, LuxTuris, LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of our website or products. Our total liability for any claim relating to a product will not exceed the amount you paid for that product. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

Indemnification

You agree to hold LuxTuris, LLC harmless from any claims or costs arising out of your misuse of our products or your violation of these Terms, including any unauthorized resale or redistribution of our files.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute relating to these Terms or our products will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Georgia, and you agree to that jurisdiction.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the website after changes means you accept them.
