Summary of key points

1. What information do we collect?

Personal information you disclose to us. We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when you register on the Services, express interest in our products, participate in activities on the Services, or contact us. This may include:

Sensitive information. We do not process sensitive information.

Payment data. We may collect data necessary to process your payment if you make a purchase, such as your payment instrument number and its security code. All payment data is handled and stored by Stripe. You may review Stripe's privacy notice at https://stripe.com/privacy.

All personal information you provide to us must be true, complete, and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes to it.

Information automatically collected. Some information — such as your IP address and browser and device characteristics — is collected automatically when you visit our Services. This does not reveal your specific identity but may include device and usage information such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, and information about how and when you use our Services. This is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Services, and for internal analytics and reporting. Like many businesses, we also collect information through cookies and similar technologies; see our Cookie Policy at luxturis.com/cookie-policy.

This information includes log and usage data (service-related, diagnostic, usage, and performance information our servers automatically collect) and device data (information about the computer, phone, tablet, or other device you use to access the Services).

Google API. Our use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

2. How do we process your information?

We process your personal information for a variety of reasons, depending on how you interact with our Services, including to:

3. What legal bases do we rely on to process your information?

We only process your personal information when we believe it is necessary and we have a valid legal reason to do so under applicable law — such as with your consent, to comply with laws, to provide you Services or fulfill our contractual obligations, to protect your rights, or to fulfill our legitimate business interests.

If you are located in the EU or UK, the GDPR and UK GDPR require us to explain the valid legal bases we rely on. These may include your consent (which you can withdraw at any time); performance of a contract with you; legitimate interests (such as sending information about offers, displaying advertising, analyzing Service usage, supporting marketing, preventing fraud, and improving user experience); legal obligations; and vital interests.

If you are located in Canada, we may process your information where you have given express or implied consent, and in certain exceptional cases permitted by law without consent (for example, for fraud detection and prevention, business transactions under certain conditions, or where required by subpoena, warrant, or court order).

4. When and with whom do we share your personal information?

We may share your data with third-party vendors, service providers, contractors, or agents ("third parties") who perform services for us and require access to such information to do that work. We have contracts in place designed to safeguard your personal information; they cannot use it for anything other than the work we instruct.

The categories of third parties we may share personal information with include:

We also may share your personal information in the following situations:

5. What is our stance on third-party websites?

We are not responsible for the safety of any information you share with third parties that we may link to or who advertise on our Services but are not affiliated with us. The Services may link to third-party websites or contain advertisements from third parties not affiliated with us. We do not guarantee and are not liable for any such third parties, and the inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement. Any data collected by third parties is not covered by this Privacy Notice. Please review the policies of such third parties directly.

6. Do we use cookies and other tracking technologies?

We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies (like web beacons and pixels) to gather information when you interact with our Services. Some help us maintain the security of our Services and your account, prevent crashes, fix bugs, save your preferences, and assist with basic site functions. We also permit third parties and service providers to use tracking technologies on our Services for analytics and advertising, including to tailor advertisements to your interests.

To the extent these technologies are deemed a "sale"/"sharing" (which includes targeted advertising, as defined under applicable US state laws), you can opt out through the cookie consent controls on our Website or as described under "Do United States residents have specific privacy rights?" below. Specific information about how we use these technologies and how you can refuse certain cookies is set out in our Cookie Policy at luxturis.com/cookie-policy.

7. Is your information transferred internationally?

Our servers are located in the United States. If you are accessing our Services from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored by, and processed by us and our third parties in the United States and other countries.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), UK, or Switzerland, these countries may not have data protection laws as comprehensive as those in your country. We will, however, take all necessary measures to protect your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Notice and applicable law, including, where appropriate, the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Our Standard Contractual Clauses can be provided upon request.

8. How long do we keep your information?

We keep your personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements). When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize it, or, if that is not possible, securely store it and isolate it from further processing until deletion is possible.

9. How do we keep your information safe?

We have implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect your personal information. However, no electronic transmission over the internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that unauthorized third parties will never defeat our security. Transmission of personal information to and from our Services is at your own risk.

10. Do we collect information from minors?

We do not knowingly collect, solicit data from, or market to children under 18 years of age, nor do we knowingly sell such personal information. Our products are about children, but they are made for and sold to adults. Our website is not directed to children, and by using the Services you represent that you are at least 18, or that you are the parent or guardian of a minor and consent to that minor's use of the Services. Consistent with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), if we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete that data. If you become aware of any data we may have collected from a child, please contact us at support@luxturis.com.

11. What are your privacy rights?

Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable data protection laws. In some regions (like the EEA, UK, Switzerland, and Canada), these may include the right to request access to and obtain a copy of your personal information, to request rectification or erasure, to restrict processing, to data portability, and not to be subject to automated decision-making. You may also have the right to object to processing. To make a request, contact us at support@luxturis.com.

If you are located in the EEA or UK and believe we are unlawfully processing your personal information, you have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Withdrawing your consent: If we are relying on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time by contacting us at support@luxturis.com or by updating your preferences. This will not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

Opting out of marketing communications: You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us at support@luxturis.com. When you unsubscribe, we retain a minimal suppression record so that we can honor your request and ensure we do not email you again; we do not use this record for any other purpose. You may still receive service-related messages necessary for the administration of your account or to respond to service requests.

Account information: You may review or change your account information, or terminate your account, by logging into your account settings or contacting us. Upon a request to terminate your account, we will deactivate or delete your account and information from our active databases, though we may retain some information to prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, assist investigations, enforce our legal terms, and/or comply with applicable legal requirements.

Cookies and similar technologies: Most browsers accept cookies by default. You can usually set your browser to remove or reject cookies; doing so could affect certain features of our Services. You may also opt out of interest-based advertising through the controls on our Website and industry opt-out tools. For more information, see our Cookie Policy at luxturis.com/cookie-policy.

12. Controls for do-not-track features

Most browsers and some operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature you can activate. Because no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals. If a standard is adopted that we must follow, we will inform you in a revised version of this Privacy Notice.

13. Do United States residents have specific privacy rights?

If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, or Virginia, you may have rights to request access to and details about the personal information we maintain about you, to correct inaccuracies, to obtain a copy of, or to delete your personal information, and to withdraw consent. These rights may be limited in some circumstances by applicable law.

Categories of personal information we collect include identifiers (such as name, email address, IP address, and account name); personal information under the California Customer Records statute; commercial information (transaction and purchase history); and internet or other network activity (browsing and interaction data). We do not collect biometric information, precise geolocation, professional or employment information, education information, or draw inferences to create profiles.

Your rights include the right to know whether we are processing your personal data, to access it, to correct inaccuracies, to request deletion, to obtain a copy, to non-discrimination for exercising your rights, and to opt out of processing for targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, or profiling with legal or similarly significant effects.
